Well now that just over a week has passed, images from the Village Project are beginning to trickle in…
We’re still looking for your stories, images, experiences and comments about the event…

I for one can tell you that Gabriel the psychic DJ blew my mind, and offered up some very insightful interpretations as well as some excellent advice. And, my man Mr. Moonshine is still making us all smile thanks to his fine products…

Welcome to the Village!

Welcome back friends!
Please give us the pleasure of introducing
The Village Project!

As we're led into the cozy heart of wintertime, we're busy dreaming and building from the bottom up a warm, and friendly village inside the Ukrainian Hall in Strathcona (805 E Pender). Much like the magical lands created by the Dusty Flower Pot Cabaret for the stage, this one comes to life as a fully interactive bazaar and town circle.

Stroll the streets with a cup of mulled wine and sample the homemade pies and treats. Take home wares and works by local artists and artisans -- and even schedule a new hairdoo with the village coiffeuse!

Performances will run throughout the day -- live music, puppetry, clown and dance. Word has even spread that developers have set their eyes on this little paradise. Get in on the real estate -- or voice your concerns at the town hall!

Admission during the day (12pm-6pm) is FREE!

In the evenings we will be hosting a Village Vaudeville,
the village evening winter festival with local favorites.. .

Tarran the Tailor and more.. . .

Advance tickets for evening shows are $15. Buy here.
Tickets purchased online (www.dustyflowerpot.org) will be at the door the evening of the show.

Admission (7pm-12am) is $15 Advance!
