Please give us the pleasure of introducing
The Village Project!As we're led into the cozy heart of wintertime, we're busy dreaming and building from the bottom up a warm, and friendly village inside the Ukrainian Hall in Strathcona (805 E Pender). Much like the magical lands created by the Dusty Flower Pot Cabaret for the stage, this one comes to life as a fully interactive bazaar and town circle.
Stroll the streets with a cup of mulled wine and sample the homemade pies and treats. Take home wares and works by local artists and artisans -- and even schedule a new hairdoo with the village coiffeuse!
Performances will run throughout the day -- live music, puppetry, clown and dance. Word has even spread that developers have set their eyes on this little paradise. Get in on the real estate -- or voice your concerns at the town hall!
Admission during the day (12pm-6pm) is FREE!
